Experience
Refactory Academy — Apprentice
- Built a RAG system using LangChain and FAISS to power customer and sales support, enabling sourced answers from policy documents in under a second.
- Scraped and processed web data to feed downstream analytics pipelines, reducing manual data collection effort significantly.
ACE-IDIS — Intern Volunteer
- Designed structured data schemas to standardise inconsistent research data across multiple collection sites.
- Built Python ETL pipelines that automated extraction, transformation, and loading of health research data into analysis-ready formats.
- Developed data extraction workflows and contributed features to a Next.js web application used by the research team.
Makerere University ICT — Network Volunteer
- Managed Docker and Jenkins deployments, keeping CI/CD workflows stable for the university’s internal services.
- Implemented ELK Stack monitoring to surface infrastructure issues before they affected users.
- Automated repetitive admin tasks with Bash scripts, freeing up engineering time for higher-priority work.
